Fire risk assessments for commercial properties
Since October 2006, when the Fire Act Scotland 2005 came into effect, commercial premises no longer have to obtain a fire certificate from the Fire Brigade. Commercial properties now have to undertake their own fire risk assessments which the Fire Brigade will check on a regular basis. It is a legal requirement and your business could be shut down if it is not done to a competent standard. At R S Fire, we offer a complete service where we will inspect your premises and supply you with a fire risk assessment and a list of recommendations which will bring your premises to the required standard.
